As Child Protection takes its place in our social conscience, more and more organizations express the need to educate their people about child protection issues. Tata Interactive Systems’ Child Protection courses, developed for professionals who interact with children, not only make learners aware but also equip them to offer better child protection. It teaches them how to spot a child at risk of harm or abuse, and informs them of a suitable recourse.

Our courses on Child Protection cater for organizations that typically are involved with child life and suited for social workers, government authorities, health authorities, teachers and school support staff, child minders, children’s homes' staff, medical staff in hospitals, to name a few. The Child Protection Awareness course

It discusses Child Protection issues and the steps to be taken in this area. The essential topics covered in this course are:

The Child Protection Introduction course

This course aims to generate an awareness of Early Child Matters and their impact on the key areas of the care and management of children and young people. The course covers the following topics:

  • Introduction to Integrated Working
  • Introduction to Information Sharing
  • Introduction to CAF
  • Introduction to Lead Professionals

Our customized courses provide learners with a high level of interactivity, using exercises, quizzes, and other means to ensure better understanding and longer retention. We apply the scenario-based or story-based instructional approach, which allows learners to easily relate to the content. The courses are divided into modules so as to present information in easy-to-comprehend nuggets. Quizzes at the end work as assessments; the scores are recordable to enable learner progress tracking.
