APEX Award 2010

HAL Lifeboat Assistant program won the APEX Award 2010 in the Electronic Media & Video - Education & Training category. A "novel" concept by TIS - a graphic novel, in fact - this program aims to increase the knowledge of lifeboat assistants on operating life-saving equipment, and in the process, improving performance while executing survival-skill procedures. 3,711 entries were evaluated at APEX 2010 of which Video & Electronic Publications accounted for 328. The awards were based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the success of the entry in achieving overall communications effectiveness and excellence.
